Urinary tract infection is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract. Present study indicates the common uropathogens found in patient of south Gujarat region. The study also indicates the common effective antibiotics used in urinary tract infection. In this study, 57 different antibiotics were used with specific concentration. Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method was used for the antibiotic sensitivity test against the isolated uropathogens. According to CLSI (Clinical Laboratory Standard Institute) guidelines, the results of antibiotics categorized in three part like Sensitive, Intermediate, resistant. In this study 50 different Urine Sample of UTI patients of south Gujarat were Analyzed, and out of 50 Samples E.coli was present as a causative agent in 42 samples, Pseudomonas aeruginosa was present in 5 Samples and Klebseiella spp present in 3 samples. Out of 50 samples Ampicillin sulbactum, Levofloxicin, Amikacin, Gentamycin, Meropenem, Cefoperazone-Sulbactum, Chloramphanicol, Antibiotics were mostly Sensitive Antibiotics, Few antibiotics shows Intermediates response and rest all were Resistant....
